GENDER DISCRIMINATION IN GLOBALIZED SOCIETY

Gender discrimination is a most foundable topic to debate on,

Today, I am specific about the reason behind that, mainly people used to debate on their database information, In simple word we all are familiar with the quantitative reason behind Gender discrimination. I want to discuss here some qualitative reason behind proofing it with those quantitative data from which you all are familiar with.

DEFINITION

 First of all, you had to be familiar with the term gender Discrimination.  Let me explain to you with a simple realistic occurring. When a SOCIALLY approved stronger Gender (MASCULINE) suppressed another Gender (FEMININE) as it approved as weaker.  BUT, we don’t know one thing those two Genders are convinced to be as they are approved. Our society makes rules based on false Statement,”BODY STRENGTH IS MORE GOD-LIKE THAN MENTAL STRENGTH”

OUR SOCIETY

 I have only one question for our society” what the hell are you doing?” yup, answer me.According to me, our society has only one job is to make us realize what our moral duty towards other. And what the hell is going up? Nowadays it has influenced our each and every decision of our life.

There are few examples which you can relate to:-

1. Pir s lrki hue (again a girl child),,:- (society turn our blessing into a curse)
2. Beti ko ghr k andr h rkho ,,(keep your daughter inside your home),,:- (society burns a child dream and her childhood)
3. Beti ko ghr me h rakh k padhao,,(don’t send your girl upstate to get educate),,,:- (society decides whom to educate and where)
4. Shadi kb kr rhe ho betiya k,,(when your geeting married),,,:- (society decide the time to take the most important decision in her life)
5.  Hamari Bahu hoke bahar kaam krogi,,(our daughter –in –law had not to go to work),,,:- (a self-convinced ego, developed by side effect of the rule of  pretending to be moral in this dishonest society is breaking the last hope of living as she deserved)

Oohhoo wait, it doesn’t end here,

Society get updated in this fast moving world

Now they celebrate a boy birth with a small party, and a girl birth with a family party .and take pictures to show her how special she is,

Now they buy a good new smartphone for their son on his birthday and give his previous phone to her sister on her birthday,

They send their son to other countries for study, and put her sister in a hostel of a good school/college upstate,

Son has to choose to marry the girl he wanted, as left her whenever he wanted and, let his sister to be married at the age she wanted, but not with her choice of life partner

 IMPACT OF GENDER DISCRIMINATION:-

Education:-

Most people think that education and less awareness of education is a reason for Gender Discrimination .but the truth is opposite of what it seems like, people don’t let their girls have knowledge about education. Girls were kept inside a pretending to be a caring situation in which they had to live in a situation where they only had a filtered knowledge about Education. In India, around 80%girls doesn’t know what they had to do after their Bachelor’s degree.

Crime against women:-

 Crimes against are the reason for Gender discrimination, really? I will say that these crimes are the main reason for the fear that haunted every girls, woman and even kids in our country who ever think to go against that false philosophy of our society.there are more percentage of crimes happens every time, every day, but those girls keep their pain, their suffering to themselves

to keep their broken pieces of dignity to themselves.

we can categories those crimes in mainly 2 departments:-

1. external:- it mainly contain those crimes which happen outside your house. CYBERBULLYING, PUBLIC HARASSMENT, RAPE, are mainly categorized into these types of external crimes
2. internal:-  contains crimes which happens indoor.DOWRY TORTURES AND MURDERS, MOLESTATION, MATERNAL RAPE(which is approved by our society as maternal right of husband)                        
   

 THERE ARE ALSO MANY  KNOWN QUANTITATIVE REASONS AND EFFECTS OF GENDER DISCRIMINATION  LIKE

• Sex ratio-  the ratio of  birth of girl child to the ratio of birth of boy child is 943:1000 i.e., to every 1000 boys there are 943 girls in India
• Religious concern-  India is a secular country having a wide range of religion.every religion has some good as well as the bad effect on our society.      Hindu religion- they have a large no of the positive trait as they had a handful of God and Goddess, but also have some weird traits like SATI, WIDOW, REMARRIAGE,  there are many bullshit principles about to feminine that suppress their choices, their way of living.           Muslim religion- they have many complicated traits in India. this community believes that any man has a right to marry 4 girls in their lifetime even after that very low sex ratio in India, and they also believe in TRIPLE TALAK which say that man has right to divorce their wife just by saying TALAK 3 time, and they don't have to pay her alimony.        

WHAT WE HAD TO DO TO GAIN GENDER EQUALITY?

the biggest questions nowadays are:-

what we have to do? 

what we can do? 

how we can do?

where it affects the most?

and, what will be the consequences of our action?

few quantitative actions:-

• implementation of the strict law against crimes:- implementation of new, strict law will definitely help in getting a better Gender Equality, but it will not help in 100% achievement.  we had to work at community level, or individual level to gain Gender Equality
• awareness of the need for education:- we had to convince all citizen that education is required in their development as well as the development of the country
• girls have to feel more social:-girls has to feel that they a major part of the society, they have to feel powerful and be bold and strong so that they can raise a question to society in a systematic as well as the cultured way

you are meant to be respected,

you are respected for being strongest,

you are strongest to be effective, 

you are effective in making the world sweetest,

you are baked sweetest to make the world more tasteful, more developed,

 I just want to salute you for your bravery and courage in fighting the longest war in the world, which will end someday in making this world a garden of blossoms which it meant to be
